Well, you wake up positive and ready to start your day… #DayDreaming about what could possibly happen later… Eager to see the new sites… Only to have your hopes and dreams crushed once again… No matter how hard I try to avoid the only two Corporate companies I deal with, they always seem to get at me somehow… And once again I get screwed out of the whole ordeal and don’t even get covered for the one thing I paid for, for the last 10 years… I don’t know what is going to happen to #TheTravelingMac after this folks… But enough of the complaining and sorrow, let’s relive this catastrophe!

Well, it was very nice to wake up to a #caterpillar who was trying to build a cocoon on the side of my #RV… I didn’t have the heart to just brush him or her off… So I carefully transferred the #cocoon and another caterpillar who seemed to be helping the effort over to a #tree… Good luck guys, I know it’s one hell of a transition period you have to go through but I’m sure you will come out as beautiful as a #butterfly…

I took a last picture next to The Millennium Falcon before I left… I would have stayed longer but after that amazing #hike yesterday, I didn’t feel it could get any better than this, so I figured I would leave on a good note… Obviously not knowing what was waiting for me because If I knew… I would have never left…

As I was leaving these gorgeous #GreenMountains, I heard about a canceled #tornado watch in my area… It sounded like a canceled concert the way the D.J’s were going on… They wouldn’t shut up about the cancelation… I was just relieved there was no tornado at all…

I loved this picture which shows man’s industry as the #mountains overlook, probably laughing at us… I couldn’t resist the #AmericanFlag which was right across the street from this construction area…

I was headed for another location in the #GreenMountains which was about an hour away… I wanted to find a place with a #lake, so I can #fish… I am dying to try out my new gear… I figured I would hit a #site somewhere going south in #Vermont that would have such… Man was I enjoying life at this point… I was on top of the #world… I needed to get some #gas first though…

And look at these prices! Hell yeah! Can anything go wrong at this point? It doesn’t seem like it… Oh how naive I am… so naive…

With a full tank of gas and a few days left before I needed to dump and refill, nothing could stop me… Then the #dark #clouds started to form, letting me know that my utter #happiness and my #fulfillment of yesterday’s hike would soon be a distant pleasant #memory… when you are on top of it all, that’s when the worse happens…. I almost fear being happy at this point because it always seems to be met with a terrible let down after… I can’t help it… You become gun shy when crappy things keep on happening one after the other…

I love this shot… #Death in #nature is so beautiful… It’s almost as #beautiful as #life… I love how there are #DeadBranches sticking out of the middle of this #swap… Gorgeous…

This was not an easy site to get up to… the roads were all torn up and a lot of one lane #bridges… I got so nervous another vehicle was going to ram into me coming around one of these blind turns… I blew my #horn as I went around the blind corners, hoping another driver would hear…

These bridges were quite scary also… I barely got my #RV across, watching both sides to make sure I didn’t scrape against the railing… I should have turned around here but I am an #adventurer, so I continued on…

I drove up this #mountain in #WestWardsboro,VT and continued for about 45 minutes until I was in the town of #Somerset…

Then the #rain started to fall and I finally made it to my utter demise… I should have known not to go up this street but it had signs pointing down it and it seemed like a great #camping area which it was built for… So I headed up…

Right when I got to the top of the road, I knew I was in a bad place… It was #muddy, small and almost impossible to turn around in… So I quickly tried to get out of there… It took me literally a half hour to turn around and I got stuck for a minute but #throttled my way out… But as I was heading back down the street, thinking I was out of trouble, tragedy hit!

I turned to get on the larger road and The Millennium Falcon bottomed out… My #tires were just spinning as I floored the gas and tried to accelerate my way out…

The two left rear tires were’t even touching the ground and the right ones just spun, getting no traction… I tried putting pieces of #wood under the tires to get traction, but I was #marooned… There was no possible way out without another person to help… So I called #TripleA…

Not only did I find out that my agent didn’t assign me the proper #RoadSideAssistance for my #RV, they also couldn’t find me a #TowTruck driver to bail me out… They had me on hold for about two hours… this happened around 6:30 and they didn’t locate a tow truck driver until 9pm…

Then to top it off I find out I have to pay… Here I am going on a #CrossCountry trip for a year and I told my agent I wanted to be fully covered and the coverage I had wasn’t even for a RV, it was just for a #car… I talked to 3 different represenatives and even went into their office before this trip… I crossed all my t’s and dotted all my i’s, only to find out I don’t even have the proper road side assistance for the vehicle which I also have insured under them! Amazing! And people wonder why I hate #Corporations!

I have to deal with two companies, #T-mobile and #AAA… both of them have totally screwed up everything! I don’t even have the energy to tell you it all, it’s so unbelievable… Here is a company who specializes in road side assistance and they can’t even get that right…

So, they finally locate a driver and give him the wrong location… So the driver drove around for hours, trying to find a signal to call me… Finally I dropped him a pin but that was wrong also… My GPS can’t even give me my actual location! It gives the wrong one for some reason! How I love #technology!

So I waited till 3am for the driver to get to me and when he pulled me out, which took about 10 minutes, he slapped me with a $2800 bill… So, I’m sorry folks but that did it for me… I paid him and basically lost my mind… I drove to the next open spot, parked and sat in bed, lulling over the incompetence, greed and injustice of it all… Every time something goes well I am kicked right back down! I know it’s partly my fault driving into the middle of nowhere but I did this believing I had a company that will help me if I’m stuck… Another Corporate company that promises you the #world just to screw you when you need them… All because an agent screwed all of this up when I put all of this together, I am now going to have to pay for it… Even if they do reimburse me, it’s going to take days of fighting on the phone, being transferred all over the place and filling out paperwork…

I don’t know the future of this #blog and #trip at this point…. but hey, the course of life right? This is what we signed up for… If I could get a time machine and go back to the 60’s, I wouldn’t even think twice about it… I do not fit in this #world today… at all!

I don’t want to leave on a negative note so here is a couple of pictures of #salamanders that were coming out of the rain and crossing the street…  I guess it was #nature’s way of saying sorry to me about my predicament… They were bright orange but changed colors as you can see on the right… Good night…
