I woke up to more #rain #folks… So I said to myself “Hell No!!!” and got the hell out of dodge… I couldn’t spend a day locked up in my #RV, so I decided I had over stayed my welcome in #TheGreenMountains,VT… I had a great time and love #Vermont, it is so beautiful… I will be back in the #Fall for the changing of the leaves… You can guarantee that!

Those #campers before me weren’t so courteous… I found this behind a #boulder, obviously hidden so no one can see… It’s a child’s portapoty! Disgusting! I figured I wouldn’t even bother opening it because it was left here for a reason and I don’t think it was because it hadn’t been used… Look, I have to draw the line somewhere and I am certainly not taking some other kid’s shit into #TheMillenniumFalcon! She will never speak to me again and I don’t blame her… So hopefully these campers will be back but I doubt that’s the case… Who knows, maybe they forgot it…

So, I decided to go ahead and make my way over to #TheAdirondackParkPreserve in #FortAnn,NY…. I stopped in a town called #WestRupert,VT and got #gas for $2.69 a gallon… I found a #McDonalds to post my #blog and then I headed for Fort Ann…

Let me tell you, I may be sick of the rain but it did make for a very beautiful #drive… Those #clouds and #fog were playing with the #GreenMountains again…

It was only a 3 hour drive, so I took my time, checking out the sights and stopping into a #BikeShop that was way too expensive… There’s the dead coming out of life again in this #lake above… When I have plants, I like to keep the dead with the living around #Halloween… I think the browns and greens go together so well… I don’t know why we don’t use more of death with life, it’s apart of life anyway, right?

I figured tonight I would put together another one of my #MeatSauces with noodles… I have #GroundBeef and #Pork to blend with some pretty o.k. mariner sauce… There wasn’t much of a selection so I got the cheapest figuring I can make it taste good…

I got scared when I saw a town named #Granville,VT… I remember staying in that town in #Vermont on my first stop in the state… I was scared I put the same address in but was soon relieved to find I was just passing through to get to #NewYork… You see, I drove south through the Green Mountains in Vermont and now I am heading back north so I can make my way south to #Manhattan,NY… I will be staying on #EllisIsland in #NYC… Yes folks, #TheStatueofLiberty is going to be in my backyard… It’s only $80 a night and I haven’t seen my friends in NYC for years… Can’t wait to tell you about that excursion… I go drinking in NYC there will be stories to tell, trust me! Well… I am 40 now, so maybe not… lol.

I knew I was in #NewYork when I saw this huge #prison… lol… I wondered if this was the prison the convicts escaped from… I know they had alerts on the radio in #Vermont… So I’m guessing I am close… Damn, this place is scary looking… Hope I never have to visit or occupy a cell…

I soon found myself going uphill on a #DirtRoad, so I felt I was getting close… My anxiety set in, very afraid of getting myself into a situation I can’t get out of…. That $2800 bill still sits in the back of my mind… I want to be cautious but I also want an adventure at the same time… I guess it’s all a gamble…

I started to see all these signs prohibiting camping and if there was #camping allowed, you had to be 500 feet from the road… Not a good sign at all especially considering I am driving a 32 foot long #RV… You have to remember the #freecampsites.org I get these #campgrounds from doesn’t guarantee they still have the same policies… I think it was last year the person from the #website visited here… Looking at the signs, which looked very new, it didn’t look good… It looked like they had just recently put in place all these restrictions…

Then I see this! I think my suspicions were right and that state prison was #TheClintonCorrectionalFacility! And here I am #camping in the #woods near it… One of the main places #convicts like to go hide… This spot was just getting worse by the minute but no stopping now… I certainly was not going to try and navigate down that steep #DirtRoad in the dark… I would have to take my chances with the signs and convicts…

I checked out this #HogTown parking lot which is on #HogTownRoad,NY… There were campsites but nothing for a #RV… I parked #TheMillenniumFalcon as I checked it out… I figured if push came to shove, I could just stay #overnight here in the parking lot and take my chances with the cops…

But for now I still wasn’t giving up on a #CampingSpot…

After miles of bumpy up and down roads, I finally stumbled upon this parking area which had no signs posted… So at least if they try to kick me out, I can say there were no signs posted in a #StatePark that has signs everywhere… I figured I would park here, explore more on foot and settle here if I find nothing better…

And sure as shit, there was nothing better and I am so glad I parked my RV up the hill because there was nowhere to turn around here… I avoided a potential mess… My gamble paid off… I mean, I would have figured out how to turn around but it would have been a 30 point turn and constant getting out to check for danger…

So I headed back and decided to try and sneak a #night out of that little spot I found… Here are some more #mushrooms… Wow, these ones look delicious… I need to get a guide so I can pick and #cook some of these…

There’s my #BucketOfBolts… Now to get back, take a nice, hot shower and make some #MeatSauce… hmmmmhmmmm….

I took hot #sausage meat and fresh local #GroundBeef out of the #freezer to thaw as I took my shower… Now, I had an empty container that held the meat… A little tip with this, since you don’t want to waste water rising and washing this container and you can’t put in the trash because it will stink up your RV… I just grab a plastic bag and throw all my tuna cans, meat packaging and so on inside and put them back in the fridge… This saves you a lot of time and aggravation… When you go to #dump your #vehicle you just have to remember to take it out of the fridge and throw it away… If you don’t, just get it next time… But don’t forget too many times because it will eventually stink up your #fridge… Here’s a picture of my #freezer also… just for shits and giggles…

So I put the half frozen meat in a pot and set the burner for medium… I browned the beef and pork, then added the #onions… I know a lot of people like to put their onions in first… I don’t because I find they get overcooked and you lose that great onion flavor in your sauce… So right after the beef is all brown, I put in half a chopped onion… I also added some hot sauce, parsley, sage, thyme and pepper…

Then I just added the sauce and started cooking my #GlutenFreePasta in a separate pot of boiling water…

After cooking for about 45 minutes, I went ahead and added the pasta to the sauce and let simmer for about another 30 minutes…

And here was my meal folks… I got a #ginger wheat beer at the gas station… It’s a 40, very classy… It was quite delicious… The #AmericanChopChili, as I just recently named it, was fantastic… It really had a kick to it… It was more like #chili than a #pasta meat sauce… I should use the same #recipe and add beans… Really delicious… The spicy pork added a lot of flavor…

All of my mirrors were fogged up from the #cooking… I sure as hell didn’t want a cop checking in now with my mirrors and windows all steamed up… What would he think? It would be o.k. if I wasn’t alone… lol…

This is how pitch black it was out… I couldn’t see a thing… This was a picture I took out of my kitchen table window… No lights and the #moon was obviously lost behind the #RainClouds… It was so quiet and kind of #eerie…

So, I had taken a shower, cooked a meal and not a #soul has bothered me… My gamble seemed to be paying off… Now to go to bed and hope I don’t wake up to someone knocking on my door… Cross your fingers… Goodnight….
