So, I woke up at a #Walmart in #Lancaster,NY… It was a nice day and I had some things to do before I made it over to #NiagaraFalls… I was a little sluggish this morning… I didn’t get a ton of sleep due to not getting to sleep until around 2am… I need an early night so after #Niagara I am going to camp out for a couple of days to recharge my #batteries… Been around too many people, must get some needed #seclusion…

After I wrote in the #blog, I decided to get that #battery installed… I get so excited when I have a new project that will help this #trip go smoother… It really gives me a sense of accomplishment…

As you can see above, there was a perfect space to place my new addition… To the left is the #EngineBattery, to the right is a #MarineBattery… I put a #BatteryTray in between the two and crawled underneath… There I secured it with a bolt and a bunch of zip ties… The original batteries were not very secure, so I went ahead and secured them also… You don’t want your batteries jiggling around while #driving… It’s not good for the battery and it could turn into quite a mess…

I bought these battery bracket kits to secure them to the #BatteryBoxes… Then I connected the #positive with positive and #negative with negative… Now all I need to do is drive, #charge them up and see if they work #tonight… This extra battery is hopefully going to add another 4 to 6 hours of power, which will get me through a night and day without turning that noisy, gas gobbling #generator on… When they get low, I either put the generator on or drive somewhere for an hour… Then they will be as good as new… Very happy I tackled the issue this soon… It’s going to save me tons!

So, I hit the road… I was about 15 minutes away form Niagara falls… Here I stopped at the #NiagaraRiver… I was getting really close…

Now, it took me like an hour to get here because the damn #AppleMaps kept on trying to take me to #Canada! I didn’t want to go to Canada! I wanted to use my #Co-PilotApp but I was getting such good #T-mobile service in the area, so I decided to use AppleMaps…. Big mistake! What a piece of crap!

Anyway, I finally made it and parked in an area that was designated for #RVs… Already my visit was turning out great… I didn’t have to pay to #park because the attendant wasn’t there… I left #TheMillenniumFalcon and headed over ready to be impressed…

The #walk over was beautiful… I could see they were building me up for the big surprise… This was an interesting article about #folks who use to live here at Niagara Falls… I was especially in envy of #FrancisAbbot… This man loved #Niagara so much he decided to live here in the early 1800’s… Wow! I wish I could make such choices… Imagine waking up to huge #WaterFalls everyday and bathing in it’s #river… He soon became a #hermit… He wrote and painted everyday in this #heaven on #earth… I feel your desire…

There was a wedding happening on the grounds also… there had to be at least a 100 people dressed up and taking pictures… Very nice…

There were a lot of little #bridges and #paths to cross and go down as you were making your way to the #falls… I was actually starting to get nervous I was going to be disappointed… I know it’s crazy but when people talk things up so much, your #expectations become really high and mine were soaring at this point! I wanted to be knocked off my feet… I wanted #nature to pull out it’s defibrillator and give my #spirit a jump start! I wanted to walk away from here a different person because I had seen what the #mind could not comprehend by itself… Of course I have seen Niagara Falls in movies and seen pictures but everything seems so much larger and vibrant in the movies and pictures… I was afraid this was going to be a huge letdown…

Now when I think of huge landmarks like this one, I always reference a movie from childhood… Every time someone brings up Niagara Falls, I think of #SupermanII… Not the new one, those are complete garbage in my eyes… the #ChristopherReeve ones from the 80’s… I loved those movies as a kid and especially loved the second version the most… that’s when #GeneralZod and his two cronies from #Krypton come and wreak havoc on this earth…

Well long story short, there is a scene when #LouisLane and #ClarkKent pose as a honeymoon couple and visit Niagara Falls… Now Louis is suspicious that Clark is #Superman because some careless little shit, who is dangerously hanging off the edge of the railing, falls into Niagara Falls… Superman of course saves the day but Louis realizes, being the great #reporter she is, every time Superman shows up Clark Kent mysteriously disappears…

So every time Niagara Falls is brought up my mind goes straight to this scene for reference… I was always impressed at how brave that kid was and annoyed at how stupid he was at the same time… I could never hang off that railing… Shit, I can barely hang over it in fear of falling over or dropping my phone… If I have to take the time to explain to #T-mobile that I dropped my phone in Niagara Falls, I think I would rather just jump in with it… lol!

Hmmmm… Where is all that steam coming from? I wonder…

All I can say is “holy crap!” I cannot put any logical words together to describe what was revealed to me… There are no expectations that could over shadow this massive site of #power and #serenity…You wouldn’t think the two could go hand in hand so perfectly…

There were hundreds of people around but I felt all alone… The roar of the thousands of tons of water falling drowned out any noise… A child was screaming at one point but the screams sounded like a mouse squeaking compared to this #NaturalPhenomenon…

If you planted the dumbest, illiterate person in the world here, he or she would write the equivalence of #Shakespeare, the #SpiritualEnergy is so overwhelming, I don’t know how I would control it…  It would probably drive me insane, thinking I could be apart of it and jumping in…

This massive beast gave me a feeling I had never felt before in my life… I’m not exaggerating! A feeling that made me want to stay as long as I could and that’s exactly what I did… I just followed the path as I soaked in this amazing #energy! Everyone around me had smiles on their faces… I had never been in such a large crowd and felt so #solitary… Someone could have slapped me and I would have just looked at them and smiled…

I kept on thinking about the first #explorer, #LouisHennepin, who stumbled upon this perfectly contained monster of absolute power and #chaos… How he must of heard the soothing roaring in the distance, probably a little scared of stumbling upon a #bear or a #MountainLion, only to cut thorough the #brush to discover this…

No matter how #commercial and #touristy they tried to make this place, the nature was still the dominant #force… It warned you not to get to close or it will hurt you… I was tempted to just jump in and spend my final moments on this #earth, sailing over those falls to my imminent demise… There was something #romantic about it… It didn’t seem like it would be a loss…

No one bothered me… Everyone was in this sort of #spiritual trance… No one could be heard, no one could really be seen… We were all just a shit stain to this magnificent creature, knowing it could wipe us away with no effort what so ever…

I followed the path to site after site, seeing the #Falls from every angle possible… Just when I thought I had seen it all, I would see it from another angle… I have to say they laid out these paths incredibly… I just wish they got rid of the concrete and tried to blend the civilized world in with the nature better… Not that it made much of a difference… You could have a huge dumpsite here and it would still be just as beautiful and powerful…

I couldn’t stop taking pictures, knowing I would have to sift through them later… But I didn’t care… I wanted to look back at these pictures and reminisce the feeling this gorgeous #phenomenon was giving me… It was like a #drug and even all the not so civilized creatures around me were experiencing the same high…

There were birds everywhere… Playing with the wind the falls created… swooping through the #misty water it spat out into the air…

I walked around aimlessly, not caring about a destination or time… I was perfectly happy here… the #weather couldn’t have been better… I accidentally walked into this #GiftShop… I swear I felt the results of this natural drug quickly fading away… I ran out of the #civilized, commercial shit hole and back out into nature… I was quickly forgiven and given another dose of that natural drug…

Even the #construction had no effect but I couldn’t resist taking a picture of this #bobcat for my Granddad… After he left the #BritishNavy, he moved to #America and became a bobcat mechanic… That was the start of the Pitters in America… the rest is history…

I couldn’t resist getting a drink in this restaurant… the #Bartender made a great #Mojito! He gave me some tips on where to visit in #NewYork… He described this place only 2 hours away, which he called “The Grand Canyon of the East…” With that description, from a native no less, I knew where my next #destination would be…

I soon went back #outside and made it back to the place where I first started seeing the falls… I just #meditated, standing there, staring at this beauty… Then some random girl came up to me and told me they would be lighting up the falls tonight…

I thanked her for the tip but really didn’t have anything to say to her… I know it’s great to share #moments with people but sometimes it’s better experiencing it #alone… the constant distraction of having someone with you, really takes away from the power of it all…. It almost becomes a chore… That’s just me, I guess… but the only thing that existed at this moment was myself and #God’s magnificent #creation…

I kept on looking for the spot where that little shit was hanging from the railing in “Superman II…” I think they shot it form the #CanadianSide because the angles didn’t seem right here, but you know how #Hollywood does it… They use camera tricks to create the drama… I’m sure the kid was hanging off the railing over parts that had land on the other side and they made it appear he was hanging over the water… The special effects in that movie are phenomenal for it’s time… If you haven’t seen it, watch it! It has a level of cheese to it but is really a great film… Christopher Reeve was the best Superman in my eyes… So tragic and sad what happened to him…

#Seagulls were flying over me by the hundreds! It was so mazing watching them dip and dive into the canyon… You know, I used to refer to seagulls as #rats with #wings… How closed minded and naive I was… If I could switch places with one of these seagulls, I would do it in a split second, without even thinking… I have a new admiration for these #birds… Instead of hating them, I envy then now…

Then you read this sign and realize how much #water is falling by the second… It gives you a slight taste of #infinity… we are so small that we could never comprehend how large this #universe is… I can’t even comprehend this monstrous being in front of me, how could I ever comprehend the #vastness that surrounds us everyday…

You know I have to say, those Canadians from across the water really know how to party! There was all kinds of music and partying… We looked like a #CommunistCountry compared to them… Look at the hundreds of birds flying above… They were everywhere, trying to get one more swoop in that #canyon before they retired for the night…

I was quite damp from the #mist coming from the falls… You could smell the fresh water in the #air, as the mist tickled your skin… You could walk to the top of the #hill if you were cold and then cool off near the falls if you were hot… Why anyone would want to seek #shelter in this #atmosphere is beyond me… The music and energy coming from the Canadian side made me want to party… Luckily I didn’t cross  the #border, I don’t know if I would ever come back…

Then just as I thought it couldn’t get any better, Canada starts attacking us! Bombs exploded in the air as birds fled in droves…

One poor fellow just couldn’t take all the chaos… He landed right in front of me, as if to ask what the hell is going on… His #feathers were soaked and he looked totally content with a hint of nervousness… This was obviously an American bird, for he was disgusted by the prospect of #war in such a #peaceful time…

“Damn those Canadians!” He said to me with a look and then flew away…I felt for him as he flew off, knowing that we are all subjected to the higher power… Hoping for a peaceful, #serene life but knowing Canada could attack at anytime… Oooohhhh Canada…. I’m singing right now and being sarcastic at the same time… Why can’t we be #allies? Just because you crack your eggs from the top and we crack ours from the middle? Damn, #Swift knew the ridiculousness of war and conflict… Why can’t we learn?

Well, the war soon ended and surprisingly enough, there were no casualties…  It was a good war, I expect no less from my kind neighbors… They get no credit living next to this #capitalistic monster… They have contributed to many wars, especially WWII, where they entered long before the #U.S. did… But no one hears of such courage… I still love you #Canada and I understand your partying anger… Keep it up!

The smoke soon dissipated and it was time to leave… It was already 11pm and I needed to find a Walmart to stay… So, I headed back to my #BucketOfBolts a new man… I will never be the same again with such an experience under my belt… All the hoopla does Niagara Falls no justice! This is one site you can over exaggerate when advertising and it still won’t compare to seeing it for yourself… Even if I was told monkeys would fly out of my ass, I still wouldn’t be disappointed by this amazingly, powerful piece of nature!

Theirs my girlfriend patiently waiting for me… I couldn’t wait to overwhelm her with all of this spiritual energy I had just been generously  given… I was wondering if I would even sleep tonight, I was so hopped up…

So, I hit the road and the #GPS again tried to bring me into Canada to a Walmart there! WTF! Should I go live there? Is someone trying to tell me something here?

Well, I’m definitely going to visit in the future… But that’s later… I have this wonderful country to explore first… Goodnight…
