Folks, I wish I had some big #adventure to share with you or some great #revelation but I basically sat in the #QualityInn,FloralPark all day and worked on #optimizing the #blog, getting suggestions from other #bloggers and planning my #trip, even if it meant #traveling without #TheMillenniumFalcon…

I am happy to say I didn’t have even the slightest moment of #depression or feeling of #hopelessness… I have decided if for some reason this trip can’t be continued, as it is, I will go ahead and buy equipment and do this #trip on foot… I have made huge progress with my temper, patience and ridiculous depressions… I am so glad this #disaster struck because it has made me realize where I stand and the progress I have made… If this happened a month ago, I would have been ready to give up on life by now folks…

I feel so level headed you could tell me the #world is going to end tomorrow and I would plan accordingly, without much thought… It took me 40 years to realize all this negativity is useless… It does nothing for me… I am lucky to live in such a great #country where when tragedy does strike, I have options to change and make it better… This has to be the best #therapy I have ever received and it’s worth every penny I have spent up to now…

Anyone who is feeling pressured in life and find they are not enjoying it, start #downsizing now! There are no excuses not to, you can do it at your own pace and it is very possible to do regardless of your predicament… Start cutting ties with all the #BigCompanies in your life… I know it’s hard and it feels like you are cutting off a limb sometimes but the pain will go away sooner than you think…

If you don’t like your #CableCompany, get rid of them! I know it’s convenient to have all those channels to choose from and having good internet but if they suck, why give them your money? Trust me, you are doing yourself a disservice by staying with them… It’s just better to be without the convenience  of the #internet in your home all together… Make it a mission knowing you are doing good… I will admit it is really hard to get used to regular life without all these #ModernConveniences but sticking with companies that under perform is even worse… You are selling out to these jerks for a silly convenience really… It may be hard to do but there are other alternatives to giving these incompetent, #GreedyPigs your hard earned money…

I know what I am doing is not for everyone and I still have a couple of major companies I have to deal with… There’s just no way of avoiding them unless you go #OffTheGrid permanently… I’m just letting you know what has worked for me so far…

The pressures we endure everyday are astronomical… It’s true we have conveniences our parents and grandparents could only dream about… But what we have to do to keep those conveniences, out weighs the conveniences themselves… Our parents and grandparents may of had it harder on a certain level but they were also forced to be apart of the world because they had to go out and get things done… so that hard work was rewarded with some sort of inclusion… Now we have become more and more isolated from each other, in a physical sense, and to replace that void it has been filled with #SmartPhones, #FaceBook, computers, video games, I can go on and on…

Now, back to that advertising I was talking about… Never did I realize how bad the #NewsChannels were until I rented this #HotelRoom… They are completely #unwatchable…. I was watching #CNN and I couldn’t believe how many times they went to #Commercial and how long the #CommercialBreaks were…. It is completely ridiculous! This is a news channel for Christ’s sake! Why is anyone subjected to this crap?

I hate to say it but even #FoxNews is better than CNN, but not by much… At least I got to hear about #DonaldTrump’s idiot comments, some discussions about #ISIS and some real news that was out there… CNN just kept on talking about The Women’s World Cup and other useless crap! O.K…. We get it… they won… Do we really need to hear about it every friggin 10 minutes? Then they would go to commercial, which felt like forever… I was joking to myself that every time I switched to CNN, I would notice that 75% of the time they were at commercial break…  Again, this is a news channel that is supposed to practice #JournalisticIntegrity and prides themselves on such!

Folks, #Aljeezera goes to commercial for 6 minutes every hour! #BBC doesn’t do commercials at all…. You see, in #England they have this thing called #PaidT.V. Where you pay for a package and you get a bunch of channels for that payment…

Wait a minute… Don’t we have #PaidCableT.V? Isn’t CNN apart of that paid cable t.v package? I remember one of the perks of having cable t.v. was not having to view commercials… Actually that was one of the main selling points at the time… Why are we paying for t.v. and we still have to endure these long commercial breaks? WTF happened? What are we paying for?

So essentially, these #Channels are making money off of our #Subscriptions and are getting tons of money from companies to run their commercials on top of it… How did they suddenly get away with this? I swear CNN is at commercial break 50% of the time… Then to top it off, a tragedy will strike and this channel will stop the story in it’s tracks to go to commercial… So, here you are learning about 100 school kids killed in a bombing in the Middle East… You are horrified and are feeling angry at the perpetrators… Then suddenly you are bombarded with teeth whitening commercials, diet commercials and car commercials… No one finds this in poor taste? Again, this is a news channel which prides itself on Journalistic integrity!

Folks, we are getting duped and we keep on dishing out the cash! What are they doing with the money we are giving them for these channels? The cable bills keep on getting higher, yet the commercial breaks are getting longer… What are we paying for? At least we should be able to get a news channel without commercials, since we are paying more than $100 a month… We should at least be able to learn about what is going on in our world without the harassment to buy, buy, buy! We are creating a world where we can’t get away from the constant #advertising… Even when you are pumping your gas there’s ads bombarding your life, telling you what to buy and watch!

I will never watch CNN again folks! Enough is enough! Aljeezera is my new news channel… Actually I read the news most of the time and recommend others to follow suit…  If the #NewsPapers interrupted their articles with advertisements at their pleasure, I’m sure people would be up in arms about that… There is no excuse why I can’t put on the television and learn what is happening in my world without having to be pestered by constant advertising, I don’t even give a flying shit about… Everywhere you go, you are constantly being sold something and it is way out of hand… The only people we can blame is ourselves because we watch these #BordellosOfCommercialism and keep these channels in business…

Time to wake up #America because it just keeps on getting worse and we just keep on feeding the money machine blindly… It is was it is folks and it is simply #Greed! There is no reason why you as an American shouldn’t be able to get the news without all these interruptions who’s sole purpose is to sell you shit and make money. CNN and Fox News should be ashamed of themselves! They are supposed to be helping the world by informing us on what’s going on, not profiting off of the stories that people seem to want to watch… I understand they have to operate but how much is enough? I think we have reached that excess considering their channels have now become unwatchable…

Where is the integrity Fox News and CNN? Does it exist anymore? And what happened to the public’s integrity because I know our parents and grandparents wouldn’t have put up with such ridiculousness in the past… It is a form of propaganda really and as we accept it more and more as it grows more out of control to the point we don’t even notice it anymore… I don’t know about you but I like to be viewed as an American living in America, not a shopping drone big companies decide to compete with each other to get my money by bombarding me with endless #advertising everywhere I go! At the very least, we should be able to get information about what is going on in the world without the constant interruption and aggravation of commercialism…

I do have somewhat of a solution to this… First of all, get rid of cable! It sucks! You pay for all these channels and you watch a small fraction of them… The solution is channel apps… Get some sort of streamline television like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu , ect… Then you can watch what you want, when you want without all of this harassment.. It’s a viable solution for the time being… But be wary of giving them too much power because the corruption that comes with it will eventually put us back in the same boat ten years from now… Greed prevails when we allow it to consume our lives… Greed is the biggest sin in my eyes because it is the forefront cause of the disasters we are experiencing in this world…. Even global warming… I know you will be subjected to buying internet but if you need such conveniences in your home, I believe this is the lesser of the evils…

Keep it up CNN and Fox News… Pretty soon you will find you are no longer a News Channel and just a big company selling shit… If that’s what you view as journalistic integrity, then I would love to come on your program and discuss such…. I don’t believe anyone could defeat me on this subject, it is so apparent how bad it has gotten… Even the smartest of the smartest can not justify such ridiculous behavior from a so-called NewsChannel… Fight me on it if you disagree… Justify it if you feel I’m wrong… Good Night…
