OMG! I thought this day would never come! I am exhausted, aggravated and ready to hit the road. I haven’t slept much in the past two weeks, tired of being in limbo, waiting for this day… I fueled up #TheMillenniumFalcon, refiled my propane tank and hit the road! I needed to make it to #ColoradoDreamRanch in three days… I told them I would be there Monday afternoon, so I have a lot of driving to do! I figure if I do 16 hour days then I should be able to arrive by noon time on Monday August 3rd…

It felt amazing to be on the road again… My head is so full of doubt and crap! I need a few days on the road to reset my brain… But first I needed to dump the #Falcon… I haven’t #dumped her since I have been back but it doesn’t smell at all, which is a good sign the little tablets I put in there work amazingly…

I soon found a local #SeweragePlant that lets you dump for free… I have an #AllStaysDumpApp which shows you all the dumps in your local area… As I am driving, I just pull up this app and find a dump along my route… I try to find #StateParks, since a lot of them let you dump for free also… Since there were no State Parks near me I decided to give the local sewerage plant a shot…

Holy crap did this place stink… No pun intended… No wonder it’s free because if it wasn’t, I wouldn’t show up here… Then I saw how they dump and under stood why… You don’t need a dump hose… You just pull up and let it run right down the drain while watering down the area with the hose provided… It was quite disgusting but it was better than having to hook up the hose… As nasty as the experience was I didn’t have to touch anything… So I will put up with the smell and the sight for such a convenience…

With a clean and empty #Millie, as my best friend Curtis likes to call her, I was ready for a long trip… I was really looking forward to just driving and letting my mind wander… I am so glad Curtis is staying at my Mum’s house while he gets his ankle surgery… My Mums loves company and loves Curtis, so I know he will have a blast… Both of the Queens love to gossip, so I’m sure no one will be bored…

Curtis also helped me clean Millie… The mechanics at #J&RTowing left her in a mess… It was disgusting… Then the fridge stopped working because the propane was low, so Curtis cleaned the fridge out for me… I had to also reinstall my engine cover because they didn’t put that back on correctly… You can’t have that coming off while you are driving because the engine is so hot and it will make your journey miserable… So I secured it with a bolt which I hammered into a mounting hole…

I also had to stop at a shop because the new #computer they installed was just left hanging… No one gives a shit anymore! I paid them $3300 and they couldn’t even finish the job… If I left that computer hanging, I would be looking at another problem in the near future… Considering it took me 3 days to locate an #EPROM for that computer, I wasn’t taking any chances… I never want to have to go through that mess again! So I paid a guy 20 bucks to put it back up for me… He did a great job..

I finally found a company called #Visone which had that rare part Millie needed… I guess they buy all the parts when companies go out of business and they also specialize in used parts… It took them 2 days to get back to me because they were so busy… I can see why because they were the only ones who had my part… My Mums and I must have called about 50 places…

I am in debt to my Mums for pushing me to keep on trying… I was ready to give up but finally found the part… I was so excited when he told me he had it… I had him send me a picture of it which I forwarded over to J&R Towing… When they confirmed it I had it overnighted… They charged me double for the part but I didn’t care at that point… It ended up costing me $450… The Millennium Falcon is really taxing my wallet… I am now $9000 in debt and have to pay off #JabaTheHut or I will find myself frozen in #kryptonite… lol…

So the new journey begins… It may be a different journey now but it still has the same cast of characters… I can’t wait to arrive at this ranch in Colorado… It’s way up in the #mountains and looks so peaceful… I have decided to drive until 2am and stay overnight at a #Walmart… I started my journey at 12:30 pm so I can make a good dent in this trip on my first day… Besides sitting in traffic for 2 hours, going through #NewYork, I am making good time… Now just to get there in one piece…
