It was a rainy night last night and here was the morning result… About an hour after I got up, my new buddy Griffin came over and asked me if I wanted to go into town with him… We both had to be back at work at 2, so it sounded like a good plan…

Even a #RainyDay up here is magnificent #folks! Look at those #RainClouds hovering over #ParkConeMountain! You can’t even see the #peak… I wonder how it would be at the top of that #mountain in such #fog… I imagine it looks like something out of a #GhostStory…

Here’s a great picture of the #dam that harbors the #TaylorParkResevoir… I love how they blended #Man’sModernConstruction with the natural #mountains… The dam looks like it belongs there and actually adds to the #landscape… That mountain at the end of the damn is the base of #MatchlessMountain… I’m actually contemplating on #hiking up around here! I hate following #trails, I just want to pick my spot and make my way up! It’s more adventurous that way!

So, Griff and I went into #Gunnison… We did some needed chores like shop and get some lunch… Up here you always try to jump on the chance to go into #town because you never know when that chance will come up again… I have planned #trips in the past that were blocked by work or some other drama…

Griffin is a very smart young man… I like talking about #political issues with him… He knows his shit and is very like minded… He and Mike are effortless to hang with… I feel so comfortable with them, I feel like I can talk about anything… Never do I feel like it’s a chore to hang with them… It’s always a pleasant experience… I love where the youth is going these days! Very smart kids!

We worked tonight which was steady… I made my quota so it was another good day at #TheNuggetCafe… I ended the night hanging with the guys and hitting the sac around 11pm…
