We stayed at the #SmokeyPointRestArea,Washington…. It is about a few hours from the #CanadianBorder…

So, today was all about getting to that border… #TheTravelingMac was naturally worried about them finding marijuana in #TheMillenniumFalcon…

I know some people don’t agree with this subject but apart of this #blog is about the trials and tribulations in our current times… Like it or not, #legalization is a huge issue throughout our history and is a huge change in our #Nation’sLaws… It directly affects my life so I am going to write about it freely in my #blog…

So, for recorded history’s sake, I am going to get into depth about this issue… If you don’t like it, then just don’t read about it… Regardless if you pay attention or not, this issue will be addressed in this country… and luckily it is going the #PotSmoker’s way, for once… For now at least…

So, here’s my dilemma… Just like a lot of drinking happens in many houses, a lot of pot smoking happens in #TheFalcon… I have all kinds of nooks and crannies in the Falcon where pieces of marijuana could have fallen… And also there is carpet in the Falcon where I’m sure there is a lot of marijuana particles, stems and even #buds… Just another reason to get rid of this disgusting carpet… lol…

Under #UnitedStatesFederalLaw, #Marijuana is #criminalized… You can go to jail for having it… Even if you are in a state where it is legal… I worked in a #MedicalMarijuanaShop in #KoreaTown,LosAngeles called #RedEye… California has been #MedicallyLegal since 1993…

Well, even though my boss was obeying all the #StateLaws and had all of the licenses, the #DEA still came in and smashed up his shop… Smashing all of the display cases and cameras, taking all of their cash on site and seizing all of their product… This almost put him out of business and he had no repercussions… All he could do was get a lawyer and try to fight this issue in court, which would take years to come to a conclusion…

First of all, what kind of a country do we live in where the Federal Government can come into a state and ignore their laws, harass people who are obeying those laws, trying to hurt them so much that they could go out of business? This is wrong on so many levels…

Well, knowing this, I am very nervous that some over zealous #narc who is looking for a promotion wearing a uniform two sizes too small, you know the type, will find the tiniest speck of marijuana in my #RV and ruin my life… And they can do exactly that folks! They could treat me like I was a heroin dealer, if they like! Also, I was hearing rumors of phones and computers being checked while crossing…

So, I took this very seriously and cleaned all of my #MarijuanaParaphernalia with rubbing alcohol, trying to eradicate my whole vehicle of any #pot the best I could… I cleared my phone so they couldn’t check that and I hid my computer…

Am I in a fucking #PoliceState here folks? Why am I considered free yet I have to clear my phone in fear that #FederalAuthorities will invade my privacy and use that my personal info to incriminate me! I mean really?

So, Tracey and I made a day of it… Just to mention, for Tracey’s sake, she does not partake in this at all! She doesn’t smoke and has never tried marijuana… So she turns a blind eye and never gets involved in any marijuana purchases, consumption or sharing… I want to state this for her protection… She has nothing to do with any of this… Every choice that is made regarding this is solely made by me… Period! No exceptions!

We got a late start today so we decided to get haircuts, grocery shop (because the food in Canada is more expensive,) do laundry and get the Falcon ready to cross the border… I was a little on edge because I was so nervous about the border… I just hate crap like this! It makes me so angry that I have to worry about a stupid, harmless plant which helps me relax and sleep at night… I start thinking about the politics of it all and that of course enrages me! lol…

Oh, poor Tracey who has to deal with this maniac! lol!

So, we did a bunch of chores and parked at a #Park&Ride which had a #StarBucks right across the street… All we had to do was get up, get coffee and then cross the border into #BritishColumbiaCanada…

And that’s exactly what we did folks! But I screwed up, I was so nervous… I ended up taking the the semi-truck inspection lane instead of the passenger vehicle lane… I thought my RV was considered a truck like the rest areas we stay in…

Tracey warned me but I didn’t listen… So, we got fully inspected…  They weren’t even concerned about pot… What they were looking for is weapons… Maybe America should take a turn in this direction… Instead of incriminating innocent, harmless pot smokers, why don’t you do something about the gun problem in this country? Canada seems to take this issue very seriously! It goes to show how far up our own asses we are on certain subjects…  We go after the pot that kills no one yet we protect guns which kill 89 people per day… What a waste of time and the tax payer’s dollars when we could be making billions off of legalization… So stupid we are!

I guess Canada could give two shits about the marijuana laws considering they plan to go legal next year… I felt a little stupid, over reacting the way I did but better safe than sorry, right? I mean, if they could potentially throw me in jail shouldn’t I take all necessary precautions not to have my life ruined over something so harmless and stupid? And if I did get caught, that is when I would get vigilant and fight… But no reason to attract conflict in my ever conflicted filled life… Always choose your fights wisely…

We were now in Canada! I was so relieved… I didn’t have to worry about anything until we got to the #AlaskanCanadianBorder… But now the Falcon is clean as much as she should be… There was nothing I could do to prepare anymore unless I get the vehicle detailed but even after that is done, if the authorities want to find something, they will find it…

Another dilemma RV pot smokers face all of the time…  We legally smoke in our houses and obey all of the laws in the states where this plant is legal… But if a cop from a state we are passing through, where the product is criminalized, wants to find a little speck of pot so he can throw my ass in jail, he could… And there’s not a god damn thing I can do about it!

And that’s why we need to legalize on a national level because 1/3 of our over crowded prison population consists of people who broke #MarijuanaLaws… If we #LegalizeFederally tomorrow, all of these people would be set free! Exactly why this administration doesn’t want #MarijuanaLegal… They won’t be able to make as much money off of their prisons!

I can’t believe we live in a #FreeCountry where this shit still happens! What a disgrace and how #Un-American!
